I passed by a church last night, and on their sign was supposed to read:
“Man looks at your outside;
God looks in your heart.”
The two most important letters in the Christian Vocabulary, however, must be the “H” and the “T”, because someone had removed them, making the sign read:
“Man looks at your outside;
God looks in your ear.”
As Molly’s Mama stated to me, after hearing this, “All this time I thought the eyes were the windows to the soul. Ends up it was the ears the whole time!”
